    The program will comprise 20 invited talks, while contributed talks will be selected by the abstracts. All other participants will have the opportunity to present their work in poster sessions.

    The scientific program will start on March 11, 2026 at 14:30 and end on March 13, 2026 at 14:30.

    Registration

    Registration to the International Meeting of the German Biophysical Society (DGfB) with the focus on Molecular Biophysics is possible exclusively by completing the online registration form. After completing the form you will receive an automatic registration confirmation acknowledging your submission. Participants will receive a final registration confirmation together with the invoice containing bank details in due time.

    Abstract submission is part of the registration procedure. Please specify in the online registration form, whether you would like for your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation. 

    Because the number of participants is limited, early registration is highly recommended!

    Registration fee includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee breaks and great scientific sessions from 11 to 13 March 2026.

    If you wish to stay an additional night, tick the corresponding box on the online registration form. Please note that additional nights must be paid for by the participants themselves at the conference site!

    Important: There is limited rooming. Single rooms will go on a first come first serve basis. For double rooms, please specify in the comments section in the registration form if you have a specific roommate preference.

    Food restrictions shall be noted down in the comments.

    A small number of travel grants are available, especially for Master and PhD students and selected talk presenters.     By plane:

    You can fly to Frankfurt International Airport and take the train to Hünfeld from Frankfurt airport station via Fulda (see below).

    By train:

    Regional trains from Fulda. Please check schedules with Deutsche Bahn: www.bahn.de

    From the train station, the Monastery is within short walking distance. Walk up the stairs directly opposite the station exit to the Rathausplatz. From there go past the town hall and turn right into Mittelstraße, then semi-left into Großenbacher Tor street, and straight into Klosterstraße.

    By car:

    Motorway A7 Würzburg – Kassel (exit 90 Hünfeld/Schlitz or 91 Fulda Nord) 

    Motorway A4 Frankfurt-Erfurt (exit Bad Hersfeld).
