German Biophysical Society 2020 Konstanz

We are pleased to announce the next biennial meeting of the German Biophysical Society (DGfB) which will take place from September 20-23, 2020 at the University of Konstanz.

Registrations will start from March 15th, 2020.

The German Biophyscial Society Meeting traditionally offers an ideal setting for the scientific exchange of junior and senior scientists coming from various multidisciplinary research fields representing Biophysics.

Internationally reknown leading experts will present latest developments and research results in plenary lectures and invited talks.  A significant number of contributed talks will be selected from abstracts.  Poster sessions and an exhibition will promote lively discussions.

A particular focus of the conference is the support of young researchers. We will host a Young Investigator Award competition. In addition, three poster prizes will be awarded.

  • Biomolecules and their assemblies: from structure and dynamics to function
  • Biophysics of membranes, membrane proteins and protein-lipid interaction
  • Energy transduction involving light harvesting, electron transfer and proton transfer
  • Channels and transporters
  • Cell biophysics, intracellular transport and signalling
  • Biomolecular simulations and computational biophysics
  • Biospectroscopy and imaging molecules of life
  • New techniques and challenges in biophysics

More information will be available soon!

We are looking forward to meeting you in Konstanz in September 2020!
